65-97% of Polycythemia vera, 25-55% of Essential thrombocythemia, and 35-57% of Chronic idiopathic myelofibrosis. This test detects the V617F mutation for JAK2. This assay aids in the distinction between Reactive cytosis & Chronic myeloproliferative disorder.
