ALLERGY, ACACIA (Babool)

Acacia also called Mimosa grows in dry regions of India. These trees produce large amounts of pollen which is released during summer. Allergies are caused by inhaling the pollen or through direct entry of the pollen through eyes, mouth or nose. People working in industries which use gum & oil from Acacia tree are at high risk of developing allergy. Symptoms include sneezing, stuffy nose, irritation in the eyes, coughing & hives.
