CHIKUNGUNYA VIRUS ANTIBODY, IgM

Chikungunya virus is transmitted by the bite of Aedes aegypti mosquito leading to Dengue like symptoms. However no hemorrhagic manifestations are seen. Absence of IgM antibody does not exclude the possibility of Chikungunya infection.
