EPIDERMAL (PEMPHIGUS) ANTIBODY, IFA

Autoantibodies are directed against the keratinocyte cell surface in patients with Pemphigus vulgaris. Approximately 50% of patients with Bullous pemphigoid express autoantibodies directed against the basement membrane of stratifed squamous epithelium.
