HEPATITIS A ANTIBODY (Anti-HAV), IGM

HAV is a self limiting disease transmitted by the fecal-oral route. Anti HAV IgM antibodies are detectable by the time symptoms appear, usually 15- 45 days after exposure. They fall to undetectable levels by 6 months after HAV infection.
