SPUTUM FOR EOSINOPHILS

Sputun eosinophil count is an excellent biomarker of airway inflammation. It is useful in asthma patients to assess disease severity, treatment outcome & prognosis. Thses counts are also high in some patients with COPD or chronic cough.
